Welcome to Butterfly Daisy Nursery and Sanctuary, nestled in the heart of Seminole, Florida.
In June 2020, inspired by a heartfelt tribute to our Mother, I embarked on the journey of cultivating a butterfly garden in my own yard. Little did I know that this small endeavor would forever alter the course of my life. The turning point came in September, as I observed a proliferation of caterpillars on a single plant known to attract butterflies. That unassuming yet powerful plant turned out to be Milkweed. It was through this experience that I discovered the wonder of Monarch caterpillars and their voracious appetite. The Monarch butterfly, always my favorite, became the focal point of my newfound passion. To date, I’ve had the joy of releasing over 4,000 healthy Monarchs.
Building on this profound connection with butterflies, in October 2021, I founded Butterfly Daisy Nursery. Our mission is to provide not only healthy and safe Milkweed for Monarch caterpillars but also a reliable source of nectar to sustain all our invaluable pollinators. We take pride in being a licensed nursery, recognized by the Florida Department of Agriculture, Monarch Waystation, and holding a USDA Permit P526.
At Butterfly Daisy Nursery, we are committed to making a positive impact, not only by nurturing the butterfly population but also by sharing our knowledge. We aspire to educate and assist others in creating their own butterfly gardens. To support our efforts, we welcome donations to help maintain our butterfly sanctuary.
